Üben, üben, üben

Hallo liebe Leser,

Hello dear Readers,

wie ihr sicher gemerkt habt, bin ich fleißig mit meinen Copics und dem Airbrushgerät am üben. Auch auf dieser Karte ist es zum Einsatz gekommen, wenn auch nicht zu meiner vollen Zufriedenheit. Das zauberhafte Motiv ist die "Phlox Princess" von Sara Burrier für Crafts & Me. Eigentlich müsste sie daher in Rosa/Lila gewandet werden, aber wir haben Herbst, da dürfen es auch gerne Erdtöne sein. Mit der Koloration bin ich ganz zufrieden, ich habe nur das Motiv etwas sehr groß ausgedruckt.

as you sure have noticed, I am busy pratising with my Copics and the airbrush. I used it on  this card, too, but I am not completely satisfied with the result. The adorable image is "Phlox Princess" by Sara Burrier for Crafts & Me. According to her name, she should be coloured in pink/lilac, but it is autumn, so earth colours are trendy. I am quiete happy about how the colouring came out, I just printed the image a bit too large.

Dann hatte ich mal wieder das Problem, dass ich kein passendes Designpapier hatte. Also habe ich selber welches gemacht. Gestempelt, mit dem Airbrush besprüht, die Blüten und Blätter koloriert - fertig. Allerdings war ich dann noch der Meinung, dass der Rand des Perfect Colouring Papers rund um das Motiv zu weiß und damit zu hart war. Also was tun? Ich habe es mit dem Airbrush versucht und das hat nicht sooo toll funktioniert. Ich habe genau das gemacht, wovor alle Anleitungen immer warnen, nämlich nicht neben der Stelle, die ich einfärben möchte, angefangen zu sprühen, sondern gleich direkt draufgehalten. Das gab dann genau den befürchteten Sprühfleck! Ich habe ihn mit dem Colorless Blender fast beseitigen können, aber nur fast, seht selber:

Then the problem occured, that I did not have a matching designpaper. So I made some myself. I stamped, airbrushed and coloured the flowers and the leaves - that's it! Now I thought that the white rim of the Perfect Colouring Paper around the image was too white and so too hard. What should I do? I tried to airbrush and this did not work out soooo great.  I did exactly what every tutorial warns you not to do, I started not benath the spot I wanted to colour, but right on this spot and there it was - the spray stain! I almost removed it with the help of the colourless blender, but only almost:

Eigentlich ist sie ja ganz hübsch geworden, die Karte, aber verschenken werde ich sie wohl nicht. Trotzdem werde ich sie als Beispiel dafür aufheben, wie man es nicht machen sollte.
