Heidi wieder im Schnee

Hallo liebe Copic-Fans,

Hello dear Copic fans,

wir haben fast Ende Oktober, Weihnachten ist nicht mehr weit und wird - wie jedes Jahr - ganz überraschend vor der Tür stehen. Ich habe daher mit der Produktion von Winter- und Weihnachtskarten begonnen, unter anderem mit der süßen Heid von Sylvia Zet für Wee Stamps. Heidi ist ein Digi, aber inzwischen gibt es sie auch als Gummistempel.

We are almost at the end of October, so Christmas is just around the corner and will be here surprisingly fast as every year. So I started my production of Winter and Christmas cards with Heidi, one of the sweet images from Sylvia Zet for Wee Stamps. Heidi is a digi, but she is available as rubber stamp, too.

Das tolle Papier ist "Winterzauber" von Ursus, ich liebe diese Farbkombination! Die Schneeflocke hat mein Craft Robo geschnitten und es ist eine Menge Stickles "Diamond" auf der Karte, das liebe ich auch! Der Textstempel ist von Whiff of Joy, es gibt dort deutsche und auch englische Texte.

The lovely paper is from Ursus, it is called "Winterzauber" and I really love that colour-combo! My Craft Robo cut the snowflake and there is a lot of Stickles "Diamond" on this card - I love this, too. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy. They have sentiments in German and in English, too.

Nochmal Halloween ganz niedlich...

ich bin im Moment seeeehr mit den Vorbereitungen für meine Kurse beschäftigt und komme kaum zum Basteln. Das ist nicht so gut, Weihnachten steht quasi vor der Tür und es kommen jede Menge neue Erdenbürger an, die begrüßt werden sollen...

I am veeeryy busy preparing my upcoming classes and find hardly any time for crafting. That's quite a problem, Christmas is just around the corner and there are many sweet bundles of joy arriving  who should be welcomed...

Daher bin ich echt froh, dass ich heute eine Karte geschafft habe.Und da die Zeit für Halloween ja immer recht kurz ist, habe ich die Gelgenheit nochmal genutzt, um eines der zauberhaften Motive von Whiff of Joy zu verarbeiten, das ich auf dem Stempelmekka gekauft habe. Es heißt "Maya-Hexe und Kitty fliegen durch die Nacht".

I am quite content that I managed to make a card today and as the time until Halloween is quite short, I took the oppportunity to use the sweet Whiff of Joy image I bought at the Stempelmekka. It is called "Maya-Hexe und Kitty fliegen durch die Nacht".

Süß, nicht wahr? Ich habe dazu Designpapier aus der "Little Boo Collection" von Prima Marketing verwendet, der Fledermausschnörkel ist eine Schneidedatei von Silhouette und das Ticket war ein  Freebie von Scrapperia .

Stamps Happen trift Airbrush

Hello dear Readers,

ich habe wieder eine Karte mit Copics und dem Airbrushgerät gestaltet. Vor einiger Zeit habe ich den wunderschönen Collage-Stempel von Stamps Happen sehr günstig ergattert. Den mittleren Bereich habe ich mit einer Maske abgedeckt und dann den Rand mit verschiedenen Farben besprüht. Anschließend habe ich den mittleren Bereich koloriert. Für den hellen Hintergrund habe ich Teile des Stemoels mit Versafine Crimson Red eingefärbt  und abgedrückt. Ich wollte einfach den schönen Stempel wirken lassen und kein Designpapier verwenden.

Again I created a card using my Copics with the airbrush. Some time ago, I was lucky to find the beautiful collage stamp from Stamps Happen at a good price. I masked the inner area and airbrushed the rim with several colours. Afterwards I coloured the inner area. For the background, I did not want to use designpaper, I wanted to focus on the beautiful stamp. So I used Versafine Crimson Red to stamp the image onto the lighter cardstock.

Üben, üben, üben

Hallo liebe Leser,

Hello dear Readers,

wie ihr sicher gemerkt habt, bin ich fleißig mit meinen Copics und dem Airbrushgerät am üben. Auch auf dieser Karte ist es zum Einsatz gekommen, wenn auch nicht zu meiner vollen Zufriedenheit. Das zauberhafte Motiv ist die "Phlox Princess" von Sara Burrier für Crafts & Me. Eigentlich müsste sie daher in Rosa/Lila gewandet werden, aber wir haben Herbst, da dürfen es auch gerne Erdtöne sein. Mit der Koloration bin ich ganz zufrieden, ich habe nur das Motiv etwas sehr groß ausgedruckt.

as you sure have noticed, I am busy pratising with my Copics and the airbrush. I used it on  this card, too, but I am not completely satisfied with the result. The adorable image is "Phlox Princess" by Sara Burrier for Crafts & Me. According to her name, she should be coloured in pink/lilac, but it is autumn, so earth colours are trendy. I am quiete happy about how the colouring came out, I just printed the image a bit too large.

Dann hatte ich mal wieder das Problem, dass ich kein passendes Designpapier hatte. Also habe ich selber welches gemacht. Gestempelt, mit dem Airbrush besprüht, die Blüten und Blätter koloriert - fertig. Allerdings war ich dann noch der Meinung, dass der Rand des Perfect Colouring Papers rund um das Motiv zu weiß und damit zu hart war. Also was tun? Ich habe es mit dem Airbrush versucht und das hat nicht sooo toll funktioniert. Ich habe genau das gemacht, wovor alle Anleitungen immer warnen, nämlich nicht neben der Stelle, die ich einfärben möchte, angefangen zu sprühen, sondern gleich direkt draufgehalten. Das gab dann genau den befürchteten Sprühfleck! Ich habe ihn mit dem Colorless Blender fast beseitigen können, aber nur fast, seht selber:

Then the problem occured, that I did not have a matching designpaper. So I made some myself. I stamped, airbrushed and coloured the flowers and the leaves - that's it! Now I thought that the white rim of the Perfect Colouring Paper around the image was too white and so too hard. What should I do? I tried to airbrush and this did not work out soooo great.  I did exactly what every tutorial warns you not to do, I started not benath the spot I wanted to colour, but right on this spot and there it was - the spray stain! I almost removed it with the help of the colourless blender, but only almost:

Eigentlich ist sie ja ganz hübsch geworden, die Karte, aber verschenken werde ich sie wohl nicht. Trotzdem werde ich sie als Beispiel dafür aufheben, wie man es nicht machen sollte.

Weihnachtsvögel von Stamps Happen

Hallo liebe Leser,

Hello dear Readers,

ich habe schon immer die Neigung, sehr große Stempel zu kaufen, aber dieses Mal habe ich mich übertroffen: Der Stempel passt nicht auf mein Standardmaß von 15 x 15cm!!! Egal, ich fand das Motiv einfach toll und musste ihn haben, zumal er im Ausverkauf um 50% reduziert wear - da konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen!

I always tend to buy very large rubber stamps, but this time I outdone myself: the stamp does not fit onto my standard card of 6 x 6"!!! So what, I love this image and I simply had to have it, even more because it was reduced 50% in a sale - it was impossible for me to resist!  

Die Karte hat das Format Din lang, das passt doch prima, oder? Das Papier ist von DCWV, eine sehr liebe Freundin hat es mir vor Jahren aus den USA mitgebracht. Die Ilexblätter mit dem passenden Brad sind von Reprint.

The card is "DIN long", that fits nicely, doesn't it? The paper is DCWV, a dear friend of mine brought it along with her from the USA for me some years ago. The ilex leaves with the matching brad are from Reprint.
