This is the first of two Mother's-Day-Cards I made following the sketch from Lili of the Valley.

Spezial-Easelcard zum 40. Geburtstag

Eine sehr liebe Freundin von mir, die so gar nicht auf Blümchen, Spitze usw. steht, feiert heute ihren 40. Geburtstag. Ich wollte gerne eine besondere Karte für sie machen.

Es ist vom Prinzip her eine Easelcard, aber ich habe ein weiteres Feld hinzugefügt, das man zum Aufstellen nach hinten klappen kann.

A very dear friend of mine, who does not like flowers, lace etc,. is going to celebrate her 40. birthday this evening and I wanted to make a special card for her. It is an easelcard, but I added one more page, that you can flip back to have it standing. (Bad English, but I hope you get what I want to explain). For those, who do not understand Gernan, the text means "You ar 40 now! What next?" and - that's easy to understand, isn't it? -  "Relax!"
